Four Poster Madness

Can you see the posting trend with the poster bed. Yep, they are my favorite. Some day I'll have my very own. Not sure what color or style yet, but white bedding with white curtains would be to die for. Enjoy these!

For the love of pink

If I didn't live with a boy, I would have a pink four poster bed. Yep, definitely.

Color Me Tired

Soak up some color.

Today kicked my butt. I have been so busy trying to figure out our florists for the wedding that it's driving me pretty much out of my mind. And whatever is driving has a darn fast car.

Just a few favorites...

Aren't you glad Monday is over with? I sure am. My busy day started at 8 am sharp and didn't slow down till around 3:30 pm. It was crazy! But here some pictures to brighten up your week (hence the main color is yellow) just in case you had a Monday just like mine.

Yes, I know that last one is mainly pink, but I just had to post it since it was so beautiful.

I want it all.

I'm loving that wall paper and this color scheme. Gorgeous!

This is where I want to be

It's been raining here, almost non-stop over the past 24 hours. Hurricane Hermine brought us some rain, and even though I know we need it, it still makes for a really gloomy day. A day made for sleep and reading a delightful book in a bathtub like this.

I love that egg shape tub, and the beautiful window. I'm loving all the white in this bathroom and those tiles are gorgeous. I think a bigger bouquet of beautiful flowers sitting on the vanity would add a perfect finishing touch.

The New Bed!

Well guys, we got the NEW BED all put together last night and right now it looks good but not that great. We spent good money on the sheets, but skimped on the comforter because those are pretty easy to change out. And we can register for them for our wedding. Last night's sleep was good, but it will definitely take some getting used too.

So on to the bed!

Now I know it looks unfinished now, well actually the whole room is unfinished but we'll get there eventually! Pretty sweet deal for only a hundred dollars huh? Yeah we thought so too. We just couldn't pass up a king size bed and two matching night stands. Now I'm wishing I would have taken more pictures of the night stands. Sorry.

Of course we had to buy the mattress, but Chadd's parents bought it for us as a wedding gift! Woo hoo!

I'm thinking about dressing up the bed with pillows like this from Pier One Imports:

What do you think about the pillows? I like them a lot, and I'm thinking about adding some major color with the curtains and rugs. Thoughts?

We're moving on up in the world. Next up, new living room couches! Can't wait!
